Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. - Romans 8:8

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. - Hebrews 11:6

So, what’s the conclusion? That the lack of faith is flesh. When a situation and a problem seems bigger to you than God, then you’re operating in the flesh. A lie only has power because you believe in it.
